Custom Hand Made Roman Blinds
Hand Made Roman blinds are becoming increasingly popular when choosing new, fresh and contemporary window dressings.
They can be blackout lined, interlined for warmth or lined only to let more light in. Hand finished Roman blinds can be made in a patterned fabric or a plain fabric with a border to sides and bottom or a plain silk or linen fabric for example. They are now made using a premier track system on every blind with a breakaway cord or can be tied to the side for child safety.
Custom roman blinds can be made as a stacked pleat blind concertina effect with pleats on top of each other to maximise light or a waterfall blind where the pleat hangs over the other showing a softer appearance and more of the pattern

Most fabrics can be made into Roman blinds with additional manufacturer’s own fabrics available as a technical solution where there is a lot of glare or sun in a room or office.
They are compact in a bedroom – and they can be used in a Conservatory or roof blind as solar blinds.
Additionally, sheer curtains hand made can be fitted on to custom curtain poles in wood, steel or Perspex – see image below with the roman blinds underneath – there are many options with Roman blinds.
Designer fabrics in new cottons, sheers, linens and silks can be hand sewn into stunning tailor made roman blinds and Austrian and London blinds in the most up to date modern colour palette to complement existing furnishings.
Bespoke roman blinds can be created which will work well with a roller sheer blind beneath when the roman blind is opened.

Today Roman blinds are the most popular alternative to curtains. Virtually any fabric can be used with our hardware systems, either as relaxed soft fold or more-disciplined hard fold, where rods are inserted at each fold.
The sophistication of the hardware is determined by the weight of the fabric.
We offer a sleek chain operation eliminating the problem of tangling cords on the floor with metal headrail with safety clips and chain to size by new safety legislation.
The systems can be motorised using a hand held remote or hard wired switch operation.
